Monday, September 30th – Meadowood Blvd and Ethan’s Drive will be reopened by end of day. Beginning Tuesday, October 1st – Glenwood Drive at the Darrow Road intersection will be closed to all eastbound / westbound traffic for approximately 14 days.

I just received this press release from Summit County Public Health and I wanted to pass it along. As you know Twinsburg passed Tobacco 21 last year which prohibits sale of tobacco and vaping products to those under the age of 21. This is an issue that is very near and dear to my heart and I urge those that are using vaping / e-cigarettes products or those with children to review this press release.
Christmas Tree recycling will be at Liberty Park from 12.26.2018 through through 2.3.2019. Christmas and New Year’s Day trash and recycling pick up will be delayed one day.
The upcoming General Election on November 6th, 2018 has several issues on the ballot that are specific to Twinsburg. I’ve had several residents ask me for information or clarification on these issues so I’m putting this post together as a reference.

Nelson Tree Service company has been hired by First Energy to perform all of the tree pruning in the city. Work will run for approximately 3 months (it started on October 1st). The work will include all roads that contain “primary” electric service on the following main roads and connecting side roads.
During the Sober House Community Forum on August 2nd residents requested the City of Twinsburg get an outside legal opinion as it pertains to our zoning. This ‘Client Memorandum’ was prepared by R. Todd Hunt from Walter Haverfield, LLP regarding the proposed Sober Home.
