I got to spend this morning at my older son’s school for the Dodge Father’s Walk. It was an outstanding event that reminds me how lucky I am to be his Dad.
HUGE thanks to the Twinsburg Fired Department for joining us at the annual Corbett’s Farm block party! The guys and gals are always so giving of their time and the kids absolutely love asking questions and seeing the trucks and ambulance – thank you!
Huge thanks to Twinsburg student Nate Wagner for making the American flag tribute to September 11th a reality. He along with other Twinsburg High School students, some of whom were not yet born on 9-11-2001, have shown that they will always remember.
I’ve had several people ask me about the status of the Route 91 construction on the north end of town headed toward Solon. Here’s the latest.
Video from the August 28th, 2018 Twinsburg City Council Meeting. Items on the agenda included a presentation by – Steve Corcoran of Look Strategies, an Eagle Scout award presentation for Michael T. Turle, audience participation, Council communications and reports, the Mayor’s report, department head reports and legislation. Legislation included purchase of a new truck for the fire department, approval of a subdivision plat for Cornerstone Business Park, etc.
Mayor Yates recently provided an update on the Gleneagles Clubhouse project and I wanted to share it here as well. Very excited to see this facility open!
Video from the August 2nd, 2018 Sober House Community Forum. This public Town Hall meeting was organized so the property owners could address concerns and field resident questions. The City’s Law Director, Mayor and City Council members were present and fielded resident questions as well.
I was honored to walk this past weekend in the 2018 Twins Day parade with the rest of Twinsburg City Council. We had a blast!
I have had several conversations and emails from residents inquiring about the Recovery Residence (Sober House) to be located at 1890 Edgewood Drive.
During the July 10th Council Meeting we were treated to a presentation by Vince Crawford from Waste Management talking about the recycling program in the City of Twinsburg. Vince explained how China has banned the import of certain paper and plastic products and how this has effected recycling in Twinsburg.
