A resident asked the following question:n If Issue 24 decreases charter millage from 7 to 2 mills, why can’t Council use the unused inside millage of 2.83 to purchase the fire truck? Council currently has 7 mills for Charter Millage AND 2.83 mills for Inside Millage. Why not use inside millage for the Capital Improvement Purchase. Or why not use the surplus left by Procop?

A resident asked the following question: Couldn’t we spend money for a $900,000 ladder truck instead of increasing millage? With that much surplus, Twinsburg could payoff the remaining clubhouse debt too? How much is currently in the surplus as of 2020 and how does that compare to 5 to 10 years ago?
A resident asked the following question: If Issue 24 passes, will it defund the safety forces? If we need an expensive piece of equipment like a new pumper or ladder truck, is the money readily available for the purchase or if the issues passes, will it take a vote of the people to approve the expense?
