I was recently asked about (unscheduled) construction on Sherwin Drive. Passing along the question and the answer here.

Question

Does anyone know why Sherwin Drive is currently being torn up? It wasn’t listed on the 2026 projects posted by the city.

Answer (via the City Engineer):

“We had a small section of Sherwin on the list for a repair. It was originally just going to be a couple patches, but based on the road condition we expanded it a little to full width. It’s only about 350 feet between Darrow and Lila. We had not originally included it on the public notification list since it was just going to be a couple patches.”
