COVID-19 Updates For Twinsburg – Updated 3.16.2020

City of Twinsburg COVID-19 Updates

Update – 3/16/2020

Residents,

I want to keep everyone informed on the actions taken by the City in response to County and State directives as it relates to COVID-19. I was on a lengthy phone conference with Summit County Administrators and Mayors from numerous municipalities. As of this morning there has been two confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Summit County. The County has worked diligently to notify all parties that may have had contact with the individuals. Every effort is being done to contain the virus and its potential spread throughout our communities.

As you are probably aware, Governor DeWine ordered the closure of all restaurants and bars in the State. While there is the possibility of maintaining a carryout business, I have decide to completely close Aaron & Moses until further notice. The safety of our patrons and employees is our primary focus at this point.

We are keeping our outdoor parks open in an effort to allow some type of recreational activity for our residents. However, be aware that any public restroom located at the parks will be closed, so please plan accordingly. In addition, the golf course and driving range will open this week and remain open depending on weather. We will have staff disinfecting all areas that will be exposed to the public. The on-course restrooms will be closed, so take that into consideration if you decide to play.

Lastly, we will be limiting public entrance to all our government buildings. If you need to personally submit anything to the City please do so at the main reception area of City Hall. Feel free to contact us at (330) 425-7161 to see if there is a way to handle your need through a phone call or electronically.

We are adapting our City operations and taking every precaution to protect our residents and employees. I want to personally thank the residents for your understanding and patience as we work through the challenges that COVID-19 has placed on our community.

If you have any questions, please contact me at (330) 963-6205.

Thanks,
Mayor Ted Yates
