Video from the January 26th, 2021 Twinsburg City Council Meeting. Meeting held hybrid with Council in-person and public participation via Zoom.

Items on the agenda included approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, audience participation, Council communications and reports, the Mayor’s report, department head reports and EIGHT pieces of legislation.

Legislation included:

  • The rezoning of property located at 1816 E. Aurora Road from C-2 (COMMERCIAL) to R-5 (RESIDENTIAL)
  • The rezoning of property located at Ravenna Road from I-2 (INDUSTRIAL) to R-5 (CLUSTER RESIDENTIAL)
  • Submission of a proposed tax levy to the Summit County Board of Elections requesting they place 2.4 mill tax in support of Police and Fire on the May 4th, 2021 ballot
  • Submission to the Summit County Board of Elections to place the rezoned properties on the May 4th, 2021 ballot.
  • Submission to the Summit County Board of Elections to place the rezoned properties on the May 4th, 2021 ballot.
  • An update to the City’s sign ordinance
  • An update to the City’s definition of ‘work out of classification’
  • Resolution honoring ‘Black History Month’
