This is an excellent explanation of each proposed amendment to our Charter that will be on the ballot November 6th.
We’ve got some VERY smart folks who were on the Charter Review Commission. They went through our Charter with a fine toothed comb and brought several issues before Council. We (collectively) sent these to the ballot for review / vote of the people.
I will personally vote for some of them and against others when I cast my ballot.
That said, I felt they were all worthy of a vote of the people, which is why I voted at Council to send them to the ballot.
